Grandmother sees Grandchild Clearly After Home Eye-Test

A search for accessible eye care
In her 40s, Helen had noticed her eyesight had significantly deteriorated over the past year. Even simple pleasures, like watching her favourite TV shows, had become a struggle. But due to an existing medical condition, she was unable to visit her local high street optician. Unsure of what to do next, Helen felt stuck.

Initially worried about how an at-home eye examination would compare to a visit to their usual opticians, they soon realised they needn't be. Our optician visited Helen's home, and as she was setting up her equipment, it was clear to Helen and Jean that the eye test would be similar to what she'd had before, just with smaller portable equipment. She even took photographs of the back of the eyes and had a wide range of glasses for Helen to try on.
