Why UV protection for your eyes matters
Sunglasses are more than just a fashion accessory - they play an important role in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays.
As the days grow longer and the sun becomes stronger, exposure to ultraviolet light increases. Too much UV exposure has been linked to a number of eye conditions, including cataracts and macular degeneration, and in some cases can contribute to temporary or permanent vision loss.
Our eyes are even more sensitive to UV damage than our skin, which is why wearing proper UV-protective sunglasses is an important part of looking after your long-term eye health.

Offer valid on selected frames and lenses only. Available to customers purchasing a complete pair of spectacles (frame + vision lenses) from our £110 frame range or above. When you buy one complete pair at the standard retail price, you’ll receive a second pair of standard single vision half price sunglasses. The half price pair must include both frame and lenses and use the same prescription as the first pair (e.g. distance with distance, or upon purchase of varifocals or bifocals - customers have the choice between near or distance lenses). Lens upgrades, coatings or additional options may incur extra costs. Both pairs must be ordered at the same time. Only available to customers who have been tested and dispensed between 09/03/26 and 30/04/26. Offer cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions or vouchers. Valid 09/03/2026 – 30/04/2026.
