OutsideClinic brings style & comfort with launch of new Frame Range
OutsideClinic, the UK’s leading provider of home-based eye and hearing care, has unveiled a brand-new range of glasses frames designed specifically to meet the needs, and tastes, of older adults.
The launch marks a significant step forward for domiciliary optometry, combining modern style, improved comfort features, and trusted designer brands in a collection available through OutsideClinic’s team of mobile optometrists.
What’s new in the frame range?
Dozens of fresh frame styles, from classic to contemporary looks
New 360° hinges; flexible, easy-to-handle, and especially suited for those with dexterity challenges or post-stroke mobility
Sustainable bio-acetate materials; lightweight and eco-conscious
Trusted designer brands, including Land Rover and Cocoa Mint, popular names that balance style and practicality
Broader price range, from £45 entry-level frames up to premium options around £250, with more mid-premium choices at £130–£200
Expanded rimless and supra styles, an extended selection based on popular demand, offering lighter, and less obtrusive designs

This design-led refresh reflects feedback from both clinicians and patients, ensuring older adults have access to frames that feel good, fit comfortably, and express personal style, without compromising on clinical quality.
For many older people, mobility or health challenges can make visiting an optician difficult. OutsideClinic’s home service brings the entire eye care experience, from testing to fitting, to the patient’s doorstep.
The new frames mean patients no longer need to compromise on choice or style simply because they are receiving care at home.
“This isn’t just a frame launch; it marks a new standard for OutsideClinic. Patients can choose from stylish, recognisable brands and enjoy modern comfort features like flexible hinges and sustainable materials, all without leaving their living room.”
Dan Edwards - Retail Director, OutsideClinic
This refreshed frame range, developed in partnership with B-Corp certified Eyespace Eyewear, marks the latest step in OutsideClinic’s drive towards a more sustainable future. The new and updated range features products made from a vast range of sustainable materials such as G850 Rnew® and recycled stainless steel, seen in their Defender range - but also a vast variety of bio-based acetate frames: a material that can be certified as biodegradable and is obtained from a plant source such as wood or cotton without toxic plasticisers.
This is the first of three major frame updates planned over the coming months, with new collections launching in November and January. The goal is to ensure patients have more choice than ever before, whether they prefer timeless classics or on-trend, colourful designs.
