Over 900 magnifiers donated

We have donated over 900 magnifiers to Methodist Homes (MHA) Swindon’s Live at Home scheme.

We are proud to tell you that OutsideClinic has generously donated over 900 magnifiers to Methodist Homes (MHA) Swindon’s Live at Home scheme.

The Live at Home scheme offers services and support to help older people lead independent, active and fulfilled lives whilst living in their own home.

We donated over 900 magnifiers. There is a selection of different strengths/powers in various shapes and sizes to encompass the needs of those with varying visual requirements.

The majority are hand magnifiers with lighting; however, there are also some more unusual low vision aids such as the Max TV glasses, telescopes and some basic electronic magnifiers. We hope these will help MHA’s residents read more comfortably.

At MHA Swindon, they want to enable older people to stay living independently in their own homes for as long as possible, with the best possible quality of life - OutsideClinic hope that offering these magnifiers will help them achieve that.
