CarePlus gives you added support, protection and savings throughout the year, helping you look after your glasses and manage unexpected costs.
Your annual plan includes practical benefits such as free repairs, replacement cover and a complimentary cleaning kit, alongside exclusive discounts on additional glasses, hearing aids and selected accessories. You’ll also receive discounts to share with friends and family, with further benefits available when you renew.
Below, you’ll find a full breakdown of everything included in your CarePlus plan, including how each benefit works, when it can be used and any important terms you need to know.
When you take out a new CarePlus plan, you’ll receive a complimentary glasses cleaning kit with your new glasses.
Your kit includes:
- OutsideClinic glasses cleaning spray
- A cleaning cloth
- An OutsideClinic-branded pouch
Key terms
One complete cleaning kit is included during each 12-month plan period. It will be sent with your new glasses and cannot be supplied or posted separately.
When you renew
You’ll receive another complimentary cleaning kit when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Should you have cataract or YAG laser surgery within 12 months of purchasing your OutsideClinic glasses, we’ll replace the affected lenses with your new prescription free of charge.
The benefit covers a maximum of one replacement lens for each eye.
Key terms
This benefit is only available for glasses purchased from OutsideClinic. Once one replacement lens has been provided for each eye, any further lens changes will be chargeable.
When you renew
The benefit becomes available again when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Should your OutsideClinic glasses be lost or stolen, we’ll provide a like-for-like replacement for 50% of the usual cost.
Please contact us as soon as possible after your glasses are lost or stolen.
Key terms
This benefit is only available for glasses purchased from OutsideClinic.
Your replacement will have the same frames, lenses and prescription as the original pair. Frames and lenses cannot be upgraded as part of this benefit.
Where the original frames or lenses are no longer available, alternatives of an equivalent value will be provided.
You can make one claim during each 12-month CarePlus plan period.
When you renew
The benefit becomes available again when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Should your OutsideClinic glasses become damaged during your CarePlus plan, we’ll repair them free of charge.
Free postage is included to return your damaged glasses and send the repaired pair back to you. Where a repair is not possible, we’ll provide a like-for-like replacement free of charge.

This benefit is only available for glasses purchased from OutsideClinic.
Please contact OutsideClinic before returning your glasses. We’ll arrange for a prepaid envelope to be sent to you. Glasses must not be returned without speaking to our team first, or risk not being authorised for this benefit.
The original damaged glasses must be returned before a repair or replacement can be authorised.
Your replacement will have the same frame, lenses and prescription as the original pair. Frames and lenses cannot be upgraded as part of this benefit. Where the original frames or lenses are no longer available, alternatives of an equivalent value will be provided.
You can claim one free repair or replacement during each 12-month plan period.
When you renew
The benefit becomes available again when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Receive 50% off additional OutsideClinic glasses or sunglasses while your CarePlus plan is active.
Key terms
The additional pair must have the same prescription and frames as your original pair.
Please tell your optician or the Customer Service team that you would like to use your CarePlus discount when placing your order.
The discount cannot be applied after an order has been placed. There is no cash or credit alternative. Can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions.
You can use this benefit as many times as required during your 12-month plan period.
When you renew
The benefit becomes available again when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Receive a single-use voucher for 20% off new OutsideClinic hearing aids.
The voucher is for the CarePlus customer and can be used following an OutsideClinic hearing test where hearing aids have been recommended.
Key terms
The discount is available on new hearing aids purchased from OutsideClinic.
It must be applied when the hearing aids are purchased and cannot be added retrospectively.
Only one 20% discount can be used during each 12-month plan period. The voucher is for the CarePlus customer and cannot be passed on to anyone else. Can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions.
When you renew
You’ll receive another single-use 20% discount when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Receive 10% off eye and hearing accessories available from OutsideClinic.
How to order
To receive your discount, place your order through your optician during your appointment or contact our Customer Service team by telephone at 0800 605040.
The discount is not currently available on orders placed directly through the OutsideClinic website.

When you renew
The benefit becomes available again when you renew your CarePlus plan.
Once your new glasses are complete and ready for despatch, your delivery will automatically be upgraded to a 24-hour delivery service.
Key terms
This benefit applies to the delivery of your completed glasses. It does not reduce the time required to make your glasses to your prescription.
Your optician will explain the expected manufacturing timescale when you place your order.
The delivery upgrade will be applied automatically to eligible glasses deliveries while your CarePlus plan is active.

The benefit remains available when you renew your CarePlus plan.
10% off hearing aids for friends and family
You’ll receive a single-use voucher giving a friend or family member 10% off OutsideClinic hearing aids.
Key terms
The friend or family member will need to complete our usual eligibility process and attend a separate OutsideClinic hearing appointment.
Where hearing aids are recommended and purchased from OutsideClinic, the voucher must be presented when the order is placed.
The discount cannot be applied retrospectively, and only one discount can be used against each purchase. Can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions.
You’ll receive one hearing aid discount voucher during each 12-month CarePlus plan period.

You’ll receive another single-use voucher when you renew your CarePlus plan.
10% off frames for friends and family
You’ll receive a single-use voucher giving a friend or family member 10% off OutsideClinic frames.

20% off new frames when you renew
From your second year of CarePlus onwards, you’ll receive 20% off new OutsideClinic frames when you renew your plan.
The discount can be used when purchasing new glasses from OutsideClinic.

You must have completed the first 12 months of your CarePlus plan before this benefit becomes available.
