CarePlus & CarePremium – Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions:
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Extended Warranty provided with CarePlus and CarePremium. By choosing either plan, you agree to these Terms.
At OutsideClinic, we aim to make caring for your hearing aids simple and reassuring. These Terms explain what your extended warranty includes, how it works, and what to do if you ever need support.
We collect personal data in order to facilitate your extended warranty and assess any claims, this may include sharing personal data with manufacturer. For more information on how your personal data is processed please visit:

Manufacturer’s Warranty
Before your Extended Warranty begins, your hearing aids are covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
The Supplier shall provide a warranty, covering manufacturing defects or faults arising from normal hearing aid use, for the products as set out in Schedule 3 (Warranty Period, Product Warranty and Returns Terms) (“Warranty”), for the period set out in Schedule 3 in respect of the relevant countries of the Territory (“Manufacturer’s Warranty Period”).
Supplier limitations during Manufacturer’s Warranty Period
As far as permitted by applicable legislation, the Supplier is not obliged to repair products within the Manufacturer’s Warranty Period if:
(i) the defect arises because the buyer or customer failed to follow the Supplier’s written instructions on storage, fitting, use or maintenance of the products;
(ii) the defect arises as a result of excessive cerumen contamination or water damage;
(iii) the defect arises due to wilful damage, negligence or abnormal storage conditions;
(iv) the defect arises from any unauthorised, unqualified or third-party repair work.
Your Extended Warranty under CarePlus or CarePremium begins after the Manufacturer’s Warranty Period ends.
1. What Your Extended Warranty Includes
1.1 The Extended Warranty provides repair or replacement cover for defects in materials or workmanship that arise after the Manufacturer’s Warranty Period has expired.
1.2 Your cover level depends on the plan you choose:
- CarePlus: 1-Year Extended Warranty
- CarePremium: 2-Year Extended Warranty
1.3 The Extended Warranty begins the day the Manufacturer’s Warranty Period ends and continues for the duration of your chosen plan.
1.4 This Extended Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. What’s Covered
2.1 Your Extended Warranty includes cover for:
- The hearing aid(s) supplied as part of your plan
- Mechanical or electrical failure through normal, intended use
- Faults caused by defects in materials or workmanship
- Parts, labour and service carried out by an OutsideClinic-approved provider
- Repair or, if repair is not possible, replacement with an equivalent product
2.2 Repairs or replacements may be made using products or parts that are new, used or refurbished.
Please note:
The Extended Warranty applies only to the hearing aid device(s). It does not extend to the upgraded charging unit or cleaning kit supplied with CarePlus or CarePremium.
3. What’s Not Covered
Your Extended Warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage, loss, theft or unexplained disappearance
- Misuse, neglect, impact damage or liquid damage
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect performance
- Damage caused by repairs or adjustments by non-approved technicians
- Consumables such as batteries, cases, wax guards or cleaning solutions (unless covered by the manufacturer’s warranty)
- Software-related issues, viruses or data loss
- Damage caused by extreme temperatures, environmental conditions or power surges
- Use for commercial or professional purposes unless otherwise stated
4. Service Conditions
4.1 When requesting service, you will need to provide:
- Proof of purchase of your hearing aids
- Proof of purchase of CarePlus or CarePremium
4.2 All repairs must be carried out by an OutsideClinic-approved service provider.
4.3 Cover applies only within the United Kingdom.
4.4 The Extended Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable unless required by UK law.

If you are asked to send your hearing aids to us:
We strongly recommend using tracked mail to ensure safe delivery.
Once assessed, OutsideClinic will confirm whether the issue is covered and whether your hearing aid will be:
- Repaired
- Replaced
- Refunded (subject to depreciation where applicable)
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Liability under this Extended Warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the hearing aid(s).
6.2 OutsideClinic is not responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential loss
- Loss of earnings or opportunity
- Costs arising from not being able to use your hearing aids during repair or replacement
6.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
7.1 You may cancel your plan within 60 days for a full refund, provided no claims have been made.
7.2 After 30 days, cancellations will receive a prorated refund, minus a reasonable administration fee.
7.3 If your product is replaced or refunded and repair is not possible, the Extended Warranty is considered fully used and no refund will be due.
7.4 If the plan is cancelled, the upgraded charging unit and cleaning kit
supplied with CarePlus or CarePremium must be returned. A standard charger will be provided instead.
8. Transferability
This Extended Warranty cannot be transferred to another person or product unless required by UK consumer law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
10. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your plan is the version provided at the time of purchase.
