Community NHS Audiology and Hearing Support

OutsideClinic, in conjunction with Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board would like to inform you of some changes regarding the local NHS Audiology Service. OutsideClinic are no longer providing NHS Adult Hearing services in your area (BNSSG).

Your continued hearing health care is our priority, and we want to ensure you have access to the audiology care you need. As you have reached the end of your hearing care pathway with OutsideClinic, you now need to select an alternative provider of your choice.

Details of accredited providers that can offer this service can be viewed on the ICBs website: -

https://remedy.bnssg.icb.nhs.uk/adults/ent/audiology-adult/

Alternatively, you can contact your GP to be referred.

What happens next?

When you have chosen your provider, you should contact them to let them know that you are transferring from OutsideClinic. If necessary, they will contact OutsideClinic to arrange for your care records to be transferred. You will then be contacted to make an appointment. Please note that due to the number of people transferring, it may take some time before you are contacted.

If you need help or support with these changes, please contact the BNSSG Customer Services Team who can help with any questions or concerns. The service is free and completely confidential. You can call them on 0800 073 0907, or you can email them at bnssg.customerservice@nhs.net

We appreciate the opportunity to have supported your hearing care and thank you for placing your trust in us.

Yours sincerely,

OutsideClinic Audiology Team
