Community Audiology and Hearing Support

OutsideClinic in conjunction with Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board would like to inform you of some changes regarding the local NHS Audiology Service. OutsideClinic will no longer be accepting new referrals for our NHS hearing care service.

Your continued hearing health care is our priority, and we want to ensure you have access to the care you need. If you are already receiving an audiology service from us, your journey will continue until you reach the end of your three-year pathway. At this time, you will have the following options:

• Discharged back to your GP Surgery who will be able to refer you to an alternative provider for a new hearing test and who can offer home-based care.
• You may self-refer to a provider of your choice by visiting Audiology self-referral - Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, ICS

Alternative providers available are:

• The Industrial Diagnostics Company (LATUS Group)
• Specsavers
• Scrivens

If you require an assessment due to changes in your hearing, or have a newly identified hearing loss, you have the following options: -

• Contact your GP Surgery who will be able to refer you to an alternative provider for a new hearing test and who can offer home-based care.
• You may self-refer to a provider of your choice by visiting Audiology self-referral - Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, ICS
