Community Audiology and Hearing Support

OutsideClinic in conjunction with Devon Integrated Care Board would like to inform you of some changes regarding the local NHS Audiology Service.

OutsideClinic will no longer be providing NHS hearing care services for the Devon area. 

Your continued hearing health care is our priority, and we want to ensure you have access to the care you need. We can reassure you that we have agreed a process with NHS Devon to ensure any request is managed as efficiently as possible to ensure you are seen by a new provider as quickly as possible. 

Please note: if you already had an appointment booked or were waiting for one to be confirmed, this has now been cancelled. 

You do not have to take any action. Devon Referral Support Service will be in contact in due course to discuss with you the options to choose another provider for future appointments. 

The new providers who are contracted in Devon to deliver routine Audiology Services are:

  • Audiological Science
  • Scrivens
  • Specsavers
  • Express Diagnostics (Plymouth based)
  • Alistair Kinsey (Tavistock based)

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you, we are aware that the change in service provision is likely to cause some disruption.
